Report On The Prevention Of Miscarriages Of Justice -A Canadian report by the Heads of Prosecutions Committee that is very critical of many aspects of prosecution procedures and sets standards to avoid wrongful convictions of innocent people. It was presented to the Commonwealth Heads of Prosecution conference, and is therefore applicable to all Commonwealth countries, including New Zealand. It is also very relevant that this work is by prosecutors, including the Canadian Attorney General, and not by defence lawyers.
